GHOST TIP
Multi-instrumentalist of 25 years trying my best to make something out of doing what I love.

I'm Ghost Tip, a multi-instrumentalist from Arizona. I started out as a drummer, and somewhere along the way I developed a habit of picking up just about any instrument I could get my hands on.I've spent more than 20 years making music, playing in bands, touring, and generally figuring things out as I go. Ghost Tip is my solo project, where I get to make whatever music I feel like making without worrying too much about what genre it belongs to.The project really started taking shape when I began writing songs for my wife and kids. Until then, I'd spent most of my music career playing instruments rather than putting my own thoughts into lyrics. Turns out, having kids gives you a whole lot to think about which gave me a whole lot to write about. These days, I write about whatever happens to be occupying my brain. Sometimes that's love, family, getting older, or the things that keep me awake at night. Other times, I just want to make something that sounds pretty to my ears.I write, play, record, sing and preform all instruments myself. I don't know where this all goes. But it'd be really cool to some day make a living doing something I love for a change
