About Ghost Tip
Ghost Tip is the solo music project of an Arizona-based composer, songwriter, and lifelong musician creating genre-blending music driven by emotion, atmosphere, and honest storytelling.
Blending cinematic orchestration with alternative pop, rock, electronic production, retro synth influence, and raw personal writing, Ghost Tip’s sound refuses to stay in one lane. His songs move between dark and electric, warm and reflective, intimate and expansive, often carrying the feeling of a film score, a confession, and a memory all at once.
After spending nearly a quarter century quietly honing his craft in the background, Ghost Tip began recording deeply personal songs written for his children, finally giving shape to the fuller sound he had always heard in his head. That process became a creative turning point. What started as a way to preserve love, memory, fatherhood, and the passage of time became something larger: the confidence to write lyrically, trust instinct over fear, and create more freely than ever before.
A drummer first, but a multi-instrumentalist by obsession, Ghost Tip has spent over twenty years building music from the ground up through drums, guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, didgeridoo, and orchestral arrangement. His background as a chef, woodworker, videographer, and creator also shapes the way he approaches music: layered, handmade, visual, imperfect, and deeply human.
Ghost Tip’s work often lives in the tension between beauty and chaos. Songs can feel danceable while carrying darker emotional weight, cinematic while staying personal, polished while still holding onto the rough edges that make them real. Themes of memory, addiction, recovery, parenthood, love, time, and survival run through the music, not as branding, but as lived experience.
With each release, Ghost Tip continues building a world that is emotional, modern, strange, and honest. The goal is simple: make people feel it.
